Hmmmm... sounds good - I wouldn't mind helping out. Need to touch up my programming skills first though!
Winamp based will probably be easier.

No no no...Winamp WAS better than any other media player. Then WA3 came out...

Winamp 3 has it's disadvantages though. It takes up exorbiant amounts of system resources and is very buggy. Once they work the bugs out, though, it will be awesome.
