For the dot fountain I only see green down at the bottom. Maybe the brown is from the red and other colors mixing???
For the SSC variable limit, I believe the answer was already posted in this thread.
Custom BPM - the first skip slidebar specifies how many beats will be skipped when the preset is loaded. I guess this could be used to give the preset an "intro" before it starts changing on beat.
AVS Primer - now hiring.

Well, seeing as how it doesn't work on my computer (onbeat clear + custom bpm on skip 1 beat w/first skip set to 30 responds to every other beat, from the preset load), I'm not sure
The dot fountain's default colors are blue to red to green (from top to bottom). Set it to something like all black and you'll see these mysterious particles at the bottom.
And I haven't seen any answer to the superscope limit question...

For the custom BPM, try saving the preset and then reloading it. It works on my computer.
With the Dot Fountain, I wee what you are saying. That's weird...

Superscope :
32 or 64... Total. Subtract the preset variables for custom.

Same way as to fix the replace problem : Don't use any 0/0/0 color (Or and 0 in that matter) - Use any number bigger than that. 1-5 is transparent, BTW.
On the other hand, this problem disappeared after I installed winamp into my 2nd HD (Don't ask)... Maybe it's that 192 mb memory... Nah...
Anyways, just set text color AND outline/shadow color (Even in plain format) to anything other than 0 for any of the RGB channels. 6 is the minimum for non-transparency.
Yeah, but that totally defeats the purpose of fixing the bug. The point is you don't want ANY of the channels filled.
