Conway's Life algorithm in AVS - without the help of APE renders! Thanx to UnConeD and CFP for the Multiplier and Convolution APEs, which are contained in the ZIP.
Various other cellular automata can be made with this method. I'll be releasing a minipack of Life rules soon.

Hard to do in AVS without constricting the window size, but there is Mirek's Cellebration, which allows you to create your own rules and it comes with several thousand templates.
