Calling Matrix fans!!

Here is my humble Matrix hexcode AVS 'simulator'!

I'm pretty proud of it, so plz check it out.

DAMN I can't wait for the next movie!
I am not a huge fan of anime, (its too disjointed, not like the good old American Disney stuff i grew up with) but I think I'm gonna check out that AniMatrix.

Lol been there done that 😉. I made something similar in the first Whacko AVS. Though mine had an actual grid of rows and columns rather than using the random text position.

I though The Matrix has its own set of symbols rather than using hexadecimal by the way. If I recall correctly, most of them were mirrored kanji (Japanese) glyphs. It's been a while since I saw it though.

Definitely looking forward to the next movie too. The Matrix's effects were simply revolutionary at that time and even if the story isn't amazing, it's still a great movie. When I saw The Matrix, I hadn't seen or read anything about it, which made it extra cool 🙂. They say they're heading for a similar leap in effects for the text movies. I doubt they'll be able to amaze everyone as much, but it should still kick ass!

i really like the "hash" in the back of mine, it looks good on a big screen

As to where it came from. I needed a name on a BBS (please say you know what a BBS is) because my alias was alreaty taken. I said to my self, "Self, I need a name that noone else will ever take." So I though for a minute and came up with "Jaheckelsafar Aburundi Mishakel". That's the story

I think Zevensoft's is the closest think to what was in the movie. Verra nice. 👍

Only prob is the text buffer overwrites after a while, and it gets real blocky.

BTW, I pronounce it J'heklsfa. Because vowels are soo over-rated.

Sweet...Now make one where it actually traces through random numbers, fixes upon one, then zooms in and stretches those bars out like in the movie... 😁

That would require excessive amounts of work to be done, and it would only run about 1 fps.

Besides, I'm making a matrix-based preset which will render WildTangent effectively useless (HINT "He is the one").

That sounds like it is going to be sweet.
