is it possible to set up AVS to run in fullscreen mode using my voodoo 2 instead of my primary display card.

Not unless you can select your overlay signal destination. If you can't you can make the voodoo2 your primary display and move everything over to your secondary one.

Wasn't the Voodoo2 just an accelerator card without a 2D core? If so, you can't use the Voodoo2 as secondary display because it doesn't have this capability.
