No beatmatching with audio CDs

Apologies if this has been answered in prior threads - I am just to overwhelmed by the number of threads to look through them all!
I've got the "associate with audio CDs" box checked off but the AVS beatmatching only works using MP3s burned onto CDs and not regular CDs. Any suggestions, or should I post this on the main Winamp board?

There's this little thing called a search feature that saves you the trouble of having to look for it yourself. Lazyness is not a valid excuse 😛.

FYI - search yielded 2 results: one was my post and the other not relevant.
Maybe someone else could help.

Click "Search the forums".
Enter "Audio CD" and limit search to AVS forums only.
Click the first result.

Hard to find indeed. Especially since it's (at the time of this writing) only the 11th topic in the main AVS forum.
