New to AVS, and want to use it so badly, but I keep running into this:
I click on the X box in the upper right of my AVS Editor after I'm done customizing settings, and it HANGS my system. I then have to reboot the computer. It's done this REPEATEDLY, and it SUCKS.🙁
What's going wrong?

What version of winamp are you using?
I just download the most recent... whatever number it is... 2.8 I think.
I just discovered a work around. By right clicking on the tool bar of the Winamp Visualization Editor window I get a context menu that includes closing. Hasn't hung this way yet.

There've been problems experianced with winamp 2.80 and 2.79 (see thread in main AVS forum). Winamp 2.78 has been rock solid for me. You can download it from fileplanet.
