Help

Because I still don't have any .gif supporting program, I need some help to convert this .jpg file into .gif format... Guess this got nothing to do with avs, but guess I'm too lazy to go somewhere else....10x for advance

huh.

Well, Windows' Paint program supports jpg and gif, and that's what I used.

Yes but

When converting .jpg to .gif with paint colors get 8bit ---> colors look bad...You can see it if you look first at the original and then the paint converted .gif ....so that means I still need help

Well that's the prob. I have overed the evaluation period of psp 7. So it's useless for me...*still needing help* 🧟

GIF

Oh by the way, GIF is always 8-bit. The reason paint messes it up is probably because it uses a standard color palette instead of a specially calculated one suited for your image.
A better replacement format is PNG: it supports any color-depth, has better compression, supports alpha-channel transparency (though most browsers don't render that) and is patent-free.

Also, you might want to try http://astalavista.box.sk/. It's a search engine to locate um... 'utilities' to help you with that evaluation-version problem.
