APE plugin architecture

Hi,

I had no luck finding an AVS APE file reader plugin so I was going to try writing my own... Does anyone know where I can find an sdk for doing this? All I could find on the devloper section were sdk's for general vis plugins, nothing related to AVS.

I want to code somthing that will either read images directly and output them to the vis screen or dynamically update the Render Picture file source path. I don't know if this is possible under the current architecture... anyone have any more info?

You might have come up with this thread.

There aren't many APE's around and afaik there's no central place to grab them.
