Relax, I started out making crap AVS's. Did you try adding a Trans -> Blur or Trans -> Water (looks a little weird if you use colors other than white)?

Try to use superscopes.
take the "Spyral" that example is the a basic SSC,
Do ->
1º render/Superscope
2º Load Example
3º choose the "Spyral"
Look to the others too.
In the spyral, mix the values, but in a logical form.
make your hown vars. and learn a little of Math, and geometry.
to do a good 3D SSC you MUST know how to work with " sin , cos, tan " and some simple math, functions.
check the attach -> something, ive done to you. !
IMPORTANT -> rename the attach "simple.avs.jpg" to "simple.avs"
change the "frm" var to get different forms.
change the "n" var to get more pixels.
and use red, green, and blue. write me for more doubts you may have ->
