Winamp 5.9 RC1 is now available.
It's been a long time since we added any new AVS presets.
If anyone's got any new awesome presets they'd like to be included for the 5.9 final release,
then please zip them up and attach them here for review.
If anyone who's already got some presets included in the Winamp package
would like them to be removed/replaced/updated, then also let us know here.
Thanks!
New Presets for Winamp 5.9

Here I made a brand new preset using only the most basic components ( although I had to cheat with a movement custom to rotate the oscilliscope )
If you want to include it, feel free.
I named it community showcase, but just rename it whatever you want, I don't care or want credit for it.

I have to include that this was not ment to be a flex as in "oh look how good tugg is he can make anything look good", I just wanted to show that you can make anything even with the basic components. even though I did include a custom r=r+($pi/2) code in there.
Here's a slightly modified version that is a lot smoother, but still doesn't use any advanced mechanics.
Also I named the preset.

Which AVS version should we use?
A space to talk about everything related to Winamp Advanced Visualization Studio. Look at the pretty lights.... If you have any troubleshooting questions, bugs, or feature requests, submit them to the AVS <b>SUB-Forums</b> instead of this one!
as far as I know, both DrO's and Justins 2.91 (not the same) are both the most recent versions.
Or should we use the bugged 2.82, or (t)rusy 2.81d?
I did my preset just for funsies and it did awaken something inside me, but my coding days are long gone. I can't even understand the presets I did anymore. 😞Originally Posted by WotL's backupacc View PostMaybe I can awaken something inside me that has been asleep for over a decade...

Hi.
You should use v2.92 which comes with Winamp 5.9
Not to undermine anything, but I use winamp 5.58 with avs version v2.83, I know my setup is ancient as fuck, but that is the classical versions I can do to view most of the presets.
Even when people post presets nowadays, I can view them at their full potential.

I know you hate me for it winamp developers, but every single update breaks AVS even more, so I keep using the old version to view the past as it should be viewed. Mind that this is only for old neckbeards like me, who only care about one thing, which is pretty pictures at optimal framerate.
