Spectrum analyzer bars - is this Winamp?

Hey guys,

I don't know whether this is the right subforum to post this into (sorry if this isn't the appropriate one)...

There's a cool YouTube video with a spectrum analyzer in it:

I was wondering whether this was done with a Winamp visualization plugin or is it something else? (Or maybe something customized?)

My goal is to to make an equalizer similar to this, which can be then captured into AVI/MP4.
(The best would be After Effects but its built-in equalizer doesn't have peak indicators.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

Yupp!! This is done via the Winamp visualization plugin. Check onboard and reply for further information.

Spectrum analyzers are really easy to do in winamp, the plugin is called Advanced Visualization Studio. The upside is you can add spectrums, you can add effects, you can add and remove and add and remove to your hearts content. The downside is that it requires a lot of computing power, you can't even get youtube video quality visualizations out of it since it requires so much processor power.
