Classic spectrum analyzer bug

Hi i really like the classic spectrum analyzer produced by Mike Lynch - like to run especially in laregwindow/full screen - but it will only work for a bit then when selceted will crash winamp. All subsequent attempts to run crash winamp

If i unistall and reinstall will work for a bit then crash.

I really like this plugin - does anyone know what may be causin this -any compatile old versions of winamp or any other fixes or comparable plugins!!
