multiplier causes crash

whenever i click on the multiplier function, either from the + menu to add to my AVS preset or already in someone's preset, winamp crashes immediately. i have lost a good bit of work from this, but the realy problem is the inability to use the multiplier function. i have the same problem with channel shift and color reduction. i think the problem was caused by installing new versions of these functions from AVS preset packs. How can i fix this? Is there a function pack i can reinstall?

sorry i searched through the forums and "how to find the answer" but i didnt find the thread you posted. i'll seach harder next time.
