At last, my first AVS presets' packs are posted. They are now ready for your reviews.

I had no idea what it was supposed to be. Ran at 3.4 fps on my box, unmodified, doing absolutely nothing except chewing up my CPU. Blasted all the useless framebuffers, and optimised the SS maths and tripled the frame rate. Kinda cool effect, but still not something I'd ever release.

Suggestion

Hey earth quake have you ever heard of self extracting executables. try using Pimpbot, WinRar, and Winzips abilitys to create self extracting executables.
also great work i would love to remix your presets if thats fine wit you.

Sounds like a challenge to me 😐

Pretty well fed up with self-extracting executables myself. What's wrong with a plain zip file? It doesn't launch or change anything, and doesn't take me to a website I don't give a rat's ass about. Plus, I choose there the files go, not some ego that thinks his presets are ... ENUF.

if your installer was made with pimpbot 2½, you can use a switch to simply unzip all files from the installer

myInstaller.exe /unzip

good installer with the option to extract files easily and without further annoyances

Installers

Really, is this more convenient to use files with Installers provided (i mean PimpBot 2 (S), of course, SFX archives, etc.)? Maybe, this depends on the size and importance of files, so, what's the optimal rule?

Pimpbot is designed to wrap AVS presets and then install them to the plugin dir of winamp. How could a static self-extracting archive be more convenient, I don't get it...
