Overlay mode, close AVS window?

I was wondering if there was a way I could have the overlay as my desktop background, while also having the AVS window closed? Right now I have to drag it to the edge of the screen unless I want to have Winamp minimized along with the visualization window. If I just have it "docked" to winamp the resolution of the visualization goes down a lot and it doesn't look nearly as good.

Also have a question on alpha-blending but i'll post another topic.

have a look at http://www.nunzioweb.com/daz/autofs.html and the 'Hide the AVS window when started' option which will effectively hide the window but keep it in it's place still (i use it to have the overlay running without it visible 🙂 )
