Random presets change sequentially

I'm using the Modern default winamp skin. I have the visualization window open and click the random presets "on". I click the "next" arrow. Rather than getting a random preset, it starts on the first preset of the second folder of presets as displayed on the pull-down menu of avs presets. Then each time you hit the "next" arrow, it changes to the next preset in sequential order, not random order.

That's what "next" does. "Random" means that AVS will switch to a random preset every few seconds, so just wait a while.

Thanks for the info. I'll ask a different question: Can you prompt the avs to switch to a random preset using a keyboard command?

Just got the answer from another post: spacebar will switch you to a random avs preset.
