Well I dont want to sound elitist to all you pathetic noobs below me (oops, too late), but it takes longer for me to make a preset than you, plus I have to balance it with real life(tm), watching The Simpsons and jerking off to pr0... er... other miscellaneous stuff.

Not to mention I'm making presets for my pack as well. For me a deadline of 3 weeks is pretty short, I cant guarentee anything.

i'm currently in a phase of no creativity, but i'll give it my best, so

I don't know if I'll be able to submit, because in 3 - 4 weeks we should have:

• Moved house
• wait 3 - 4 working days for our ADSL 1500
• should take at least 1 or 2 weeks

I think i speak for everyone when i say that nobody really wants you to be a part of this pack, MaTTFURY. So it's no problem if you don't quite "make it" 😛

yeah, i'm really lacking creativity right now. i need every preset i make to go towards v7. so i'm going to have to pull out of this one. sorry guys. but i may make something, you never know. but i'm most likely not going to. sorry again guys

sent my presets already. would'nt get much time after 17th Apr, so i did my best with this much time 🙂

Did I miss the deadline yet? If I contribute could it be one preset and one remix since I am so busy (lazy).

i say I am swamped with work (4 weeks left of school, ever), and will be unable to make a preset by the deadline.

However, I should be able to crank out some remixes as they take less time.

WOtL: You can search for my posts. I have like 5 of them 🙂 I bet. And I dont think that those presets are total junk, anyway.

ok, what about that: shylent posts let's say 2 posts a day untill the deadline. Then we can call him a frequent forums member 😉

Joking apart, as we already said in the beginning this project should be a pack made by the "more or less frequent ones at wa.com". And since i'm running into some problems finishing my work, too (like everyone does recently...) i'd also say the more the better. So we could still concentrate on the remixing part.

everyone sends in his work to wotl, who randomly forwards the presets made by two artist's to one participator. Then you have the opportunity to choose the presets you like most and remix them. Afterwards the remixes are also going to get collected and complied (together with the 'normal' presets) to one huge pack.

I'll be away until May 4th so the deadline will be extended to that day.
The 5th I will spread the presets.

going to send my preset tomorrow. (sorry i won't finish the second one in time... ).

for the remixes we should say another 3-4 weeks? Not too short, cause untill end of march i'll still have pretty much stress with my studies.

Meh.. I missed the deadline... oh well. Can I still make the intro? Heres a little something I've whipped up. There is a little z-fighting but I can remove that by subdividing the tris a bit.

needs latest ver of triangle that i didnt already have... so i've included it in the zip (its on devart).

So you still have a few days to finish up anything you might have been working on.

The intro you've made is nice too. 👍 I probably should have looked at it before posting anything.

I dont mind doing everyones names and some obscenely complicated animation method on account of its all just 3d models converted to gvm and the z-buffering makes the occlusion quite easy.

may 4th... that should give me enough time to finish the textured model preset that I am working on. 🙂

Heres a slightly better version of that text, with some colour change and more detail and some different subdivision to hide more z-fighting. The W is still a bit messy and i need to subdivide it more, also i left a few tris inside of the N by mistake and sometimes they 'pop through'.

If anyone has any cool ideas for this intro let me know... as long as they revolve around 3d text i could probably work it in somehow 🙂

maybe i should have waited until i got bored of working on this for a bit :P like now... heres how it looks now, i put a point light at the camera pos instead of the directional light and added specularity, these changes look okay because everything is subdivided so much, infact combined with the fadeout in the background i think it looks awesome.

i don't know how much work it'd be. but what about starting the intro as it is and then moving the title a bit to the top. Now the names of the participants could appear from one side, stay a few seconds in the middle and then disappear to the other side. (Hope you get my idea.. 😉)

So, it would be cool if you could add my name in 3D text either! Going to send my preset to wotl in 5 minutes!
