Just imagine a newbie seeing this thread and having to go to Page 11 to get the APE's 😔 i thought this idea was to make it easier to find APE's.

Didn't we plan to sort some unusual apes out? Let's do that here before.
Cause in that new, well ordered, tidy thread we should only post all the apes seperatedly and nothing else.

I didn't know how else to do it. Should I start a whole new thread to post them? It would still be 11 posts. Tell me exactly how you want it done, and I'll do it that way.

OK, this is my suggestion in order to get a decent ape-list-thread:

• Step 1: post a list of all ape's here, so that we can decide which to leave out and (if possible) to collect the missing informations.
• Step 2: start a new thread and post apes & their corresponding information usig one post per ape, (this way you can download only the apes he really needs).
• Step 3: ask a mod to lock and sticky that thread.

ah... and pray that no one else posts in between when you create that thread😁

Ok, so here's an alphabetical list of all the apes I have. But who's going to decide what to include and/or leave out? I'm sure there will be some differences of opinion, which will just make it MORE confusing (for me) to know what is or isn't supposed to be on the final list. I've already gathered as much info on each as is possible for me, so here's the list of all I have, let me know when you need something else or have made a final list of apes to be included. :|

You forgot APEresize.ape in there. It does nothing visually, and does not need to be added to any preset. It is included in Misc effects and simply enables the AVS Editor to be resized. I've since forgotten who authored it, but I find it quite useful. 😁

As I said, these are ALL the apes I have. It does not appear in my misc. list, so I can't list what I have no knowledge about. I listed everything that appears in my EXTERIOR .ape files.😉

beeferoni, do you have all information now (who made the ape, how is it called, what does it do...)?

When you make that thread, you should add a hint to your first post, to inform people not to reply (when you're finished you can remove it again).

Besides, i saw there are less than 40 ape's in that list, so they will still fit on one page if posted sperately!

Ok first off, no I don't have all the info needed. Nothing has changed. How can I get information on an ape that I CAN'T see?
(ifs.ape for instance) and eeltrens yes I know it is a widely used ape, but I don't know what it's called in the editor, I have looked many many times.

If I have bitten off more than I can chew, I apologize for not knowing that. I will eventually get a list of some sort done I suppose, but without help it will still be incomplete, for reasons I already stated. I don't mean I just can't see ifs.ape, I mean it CRASHES my winamp right away, so there is NO way I can gather that info. I thank you all for the help already given, but...

I will start again and get as much done as is POSSIBLE. I will start a new thread with the final list when I get done with it. 😉

If you do a simple google search for ifs.ape you will come up with three links to choose from. By selecting the last one, you will be taken here. You can download a small collection of apes, including ifs.ape (I know you already have it, but you may be able to override it and try again). It also had some screenshots of the ape to give a vague idea. Personally, I don't think it's even worth including but you may like to and if so, here's where you can find all the information on it.

Ok, It won't take me as long as I thought to make the final. I am sorry I've been such a whiner through this. (Not to make excuses, but I am badly sick.) You're right, jheriko, if you look at the original post to this thread, it does look a little ridiculous. Let this be a lesson in humility to us all. 😁

i think both would be good (if it's not too much work for you). For the missing information: you should give us a complete list of which informations you don't have already.
