And why im so passionate about this? Well gee, it wouldn't have anything to do with the obvious "all tuggummi avs presets mega collection pack" im going to do in the future that will include all of my stuff, but updated for speed and compatible with the new avs version. Just don't want people having inferior versions of my stuff when it comes out.

You cant whitewash history, besides some people might be interested in the older versions, I personally enjoy seeing the progression in peoples work. What if Michelangelo had repainted the cistene chapel every year.

Im not going to change the looks, just the technics.

If michelangelo would've had modern painting tools, the sistine chapel might not look different, just better (more details, better colors and it probably wouldn't have taken him 12 years to do it)

I think its a little presumptious to compare yourself to Michelangelo, honestly I would expect more from you.

I think avs should be licensed under the GNU (open-source and free), including all presets etc.,

foreword: it's the respectful right of the owner (and or creator) of any AVS Pack, continuing that the pack has been removed for any reason/right/purpose that wishfully means diddly squat to the people that want to download it.

If it was distributed under the GNU, wouldn't that make it OK to just modify the name of the preset and relase it as your own, i.e. ripping?
