wa crashes

Hi!
I'm new to winamp.
winamp crashes everytime I try to use some ape's like amoeba 3d, ifs,etc.could use a ;ittle help.

((is this the right thread for this question?))

Do you have the latest version of AVS? Have you tried reinstalling?

Strange. Although AVS tends to crash every now and then anyway. Re-installing would be best I think. - Don't forget to backup all presets, skins and other stuff you've downloaded for it.

well, what can you say about my problem with chrasing. my winamp chrashes when I am writting codes in DM or super scope. But this is not always. Do you know what coud be the problem. I have reinstall it, but the problem is still the same.
OR
Could be the problem with my PC, which has 800 Mhz duron processor, 🙁
My AVS studio is 2.81b

Although i have tried reinstalling winamp,it still does crash.that too,using wa 5.03.I have a p4 1.9 gigahertz pc
HELP!!!
I'm considering removing these ape's tho'...

are all of you using win xp? because winamp only started crashing on me when i upgraded to xp, it never chrashed with 98.

Note that Metaballs 3D & Tentacles 3D ape's always crash your winamp if you're using windows XP. They do work if they are already in a preset which was done before, but trying to add a new Metaballs or tentacles ape will result in a crash.
It's a bug which the author Steven Wittens (aka UnConeD) has not fixed and last time i heard doesn't want to fix them. Not that it matters though, they are really stupid apes anyway 😛

well that's to bad. I am very luckly that i didn't used this APE's. because if this wuold be happening to me I would lose my mind and probalby destry my PC 🙂

Well,now that i've stopped bothering and using these ape's,
life's a joy😁 .i wonder if any of you guys have seen my first preset which i have posted in the avs presets forum.it's kinda primitive,but not so bad(or so i think😉 )
