I told you about this a few weeks ago ...
... and now it's done !

You can read/download it here (PDF file of 1.23 Mo).

Enjoy it.

Great! that will be very useful ... and it keeps n00bs off our backs. 🙂

By the way, what tool did you use to graph those lines you have in page 64?

Wow, that is a very comprehensive guide. It even contains some things I didn't know, like the formula for the sigmoid function.
You should post it at deviantart in the tutorials section.

Great work Pir! This tutorial really goes through every basic function and feature. Very thorough guide to avs 👍

This is fucking cool! 👍

I Would love to see this guide extended with the avs 2.7 functions, including information about all APE's and where to get them. Furthermore there gould be a coding section including examples (->primer)
This would make a almost perfect tutorial.

Finally someone explained the | and & functions in a way I can comprehend!

Is that link to the PDF final? If so, I'd like to link to it from the AVS FAQ.

By the way, thanks for not putting in any reference to me for proofing your document 🤪.

Oooppppps !

It's a terrible mistake !

I'll add your name right this evening.

About the link, unless I change my provider, it's a final link.

..and an index with links to the chapters
With the tool I use, I can't do this ... but if someone can (MS Word to PDF).

Are you sure ? The last time I tried (one or two months ago) it only generates a simple PDF without any links available (and the file was also heavier).

God heard you (more precisely the free Winword plugin Ghostword ...).

Now the file has bookmarks (and it is shorter: only 973 Ko).
