j/k. Submit one this round and you could easily climb in the ranks.

I'm actually happy I'm in last place, or wait a second, that's not exactly how I mean it, but I made a preset for the last round but I made it with the new version using something like 200 variables, 🙂 . I am going to release a simplified version of that preset here hopefully in the next week, it is really spiffy.

I guess we will see a lot texered galaxies... Mhh..

5 bucks on it that there'll be a lot of planet's like saturn with a ring, or maybe some like "mission to mars" (UnConeD). I'm working on a very detailed part of the planet 😉. At molecule level 😁

Hmm, wonder how original people will be able to be. Hopefully they aren't all the same.

This surely won't look like any of the other presets submitted. I promise. And I do't say it's good, I just say it'll be different 😉

Mine will be quite the choice piece of ass, avs wise if my idea comes together. 😁

Here is my submission.

It's designed for AVS 2.7 and will not work in any of the lower versions. I know I'm actually not supposed to use it, but I really was in the mood for it, and this is about the best I can do. And then again, most (if not all) of you have avs 2.7 so everybody can see it anyway. My excuses if somebody is really pissed of now because I made this 2.7 preset. I hope the judges will allow it. PLEASE? 🙂

Please also read the comment, it took me some time to make it up, and without it the preset doesn't make much sense with the topic.

requires high fps for the explosions to be on the right spot. Pixel doubling is possible in this one, it'll make it only a little bit ugly, but sizes & coords will stay correct.

i have a feeling that the winner will be the only one who manages to get in a preset for each round. Which, sadly, wont be me.

Who cares about winning 🧟 It's not like there is anything to gain from it.

Nice one Tugg, though it looks fast enough here (15 FPS), and with this speed, quite reactive. 🙂

ok heres what i got (a remix of one of the crappy presets in my new pack [http://classic.winamp.com/plugins/de...onentId=135880]). i made another version of it for 2.7 just for the hell of it

Maybe this is just my peculiarity, but why can't people name there presets something like auhtorsname-presetname.avs? It makes it a lot easier to keep track of who made what.

it does, supertoast. I don't care too much - I can still figure out who made what, but that would make things easier.

I'll name my further presets like that, no problem 🙂

Yeah, I just realized Deamon's is for 2.7. I have already said that you can't use anything that is in 2.7 and not the older versions. Deamon, you are going to have to redo that. The main reason I am not allowing it is not because some people don't have it yet, but because it may not be compatible in the future either. I'm pretty sure that we are going to make a pack out of the presets - we need to make sure that all of the presets will be includable. Sorry, Deamon.

grrr.... 😠 That's about the best preset I've ever made. 😢 Oh well, I hope I can find some inspiration on the next one. Damnit! You make me unhappy 🙁

Well deamon, you can only blaim yourself for that... pre releases are only ment for testing that it works or doesn't work, they are not ment to be used as the final presets making versions... Hence i strongly suggest that you don't do any more presets with the pre releases! Because you can't really know if something you made with pre3 will work with pre4 or the final version!

Exactly, I thought I had said this enough to let it sink in. You can use that preset in your own pack now - just wait for the final version to come out to make sure it's still compatible.

I do understand it, though I'm not generally happy about it. Oh well, I'll redo the preset with Colormap and random explosions then, can you still look at it a bit as if they were on the right place?

And yes, I know it's me who is to blame, you said it wasn't allowed to use pre-releases earlier.
