The pentakis dodecahedron is the 60-faced dual polyhedron of the truncated icosahedron (Holden 1971, p. 55). It can be constructed by augmentation of a unit edge-length dodecahedron by a pyramid with height 1/(19)sqrt(1/5(65+22sqrt(5))). Lookie, isn't it cool. Spent most of friday night working on the scopes. First i made the simple (ha) dodecahedron, 12 hexagons and then made 5 separate scopes extending from each to make the 5 triagles. Also i extended the triangles a little further out because it just looks that much cooler.
And now to make a preset out of it...
