Higher res in overlay mode?

I am wondering if it is possible to use the overlay mode in a higher screen resolution, I thought i got it to work at one time with my screen res set at 1280x1024, any solutions?

It is pooosible. That's wwhat my desktop is on teh famiy computer and it works great. A lot of people have difficulty though.

Damn. I shouldn't type while high. My spelling is worse than usual.
