Is there any way to overlay the 'now playing' track details over the AVS window for the duration of the track (I know I can activate it to dsiplay for a couple of seconds at the start of a track).
I'd also like to display a 'comming next...' label, showing the next track to play, about 30 seconds before the current track finishes.
Are either of these possible ?

Well, not automaticly. You could use a text render, but you would have to type the titles yourself. But I don't really think that's what you want. Maybe there's an APE that can do it, but I don't really know of such an APE.
what avs could need is a tiny script-language that allows such things. but even certain tags for the render/text could do a lot. i still hope on a Text II APE that allows a lot more for text-effects.
* tags that allow interaction with the current track
* text-style and -color tags
* multiple line support
* better "animation" support (variable times/beats between "text-frames")
* load external text-files
* variable line-width and -height (in percent and pixels)

I think there should be custom-position support by using 'x' and 'y' variables representing the center of the text
This thread should be in the wishlist should'nt it??😁
Thanks, so I presume that the answer is currently - no 🙁
Hit the nail on the head. 🙂

Why is it the winamp forums spend more time worrying about spelling errors, where everything should be and upholding forum rules than actually enjoying the forums and helping people.
Meh, aren't we all bastards, oh well.

Raz, who said anything about a spelling error?
When i refer to the winamp forums, i don't mean a single thread. This was just an appropriate place to post it.
AVS has wondering animation support... You just have to write it yourself D:
