Convolution Filter Help

Could someone explain how convolutin filter is used???
I have saw people use it to create awesome effects, but i cant seem to understand how to use it.🙁

I don't see why it doesn't work...it works perfectly for me in both IE and Netscape.

Atero, the geocities link can only be viewed if it's a new instance. ie. if you drag the link to the url bar, or open a new IE first and browse there.
