I just updated my machine from a 900 Athlon/GeForce 256 SDR to a Abit IC7/3Ghz 800fsb/1Gb DDR400/Radeon 9500 Pro and AVS runs very slowly on my system in fullscreen (almost the same as on my old machine!).
What am i doing wrong?
Surely this new machine should be enough to spin AVS at 1024x768 32bit in fullscreen.
Please help me figure this out 🙂

Look in the AVS troubleshooting forum, there is a whole thread about problems like these.
Could you please give me a link as i can not find such a thread?

Or just check the friggin FAQ.
as you usually should before posting a topic. And 3DMark scores don't matter for AVS. 3DMark tests your 3D card, while AVS uses only your processor and RAM.
