I am working on a preset, and I am one step away from being done, but i have a few problems. Too much distance causes distortion, and the BPM ain't behaving right. Any help here?

i think yur bpm is a case specific prob.
problably from having too many spugins running, or winamp runing to slow.
the alpha blending code should be
alpha=min(max(7-sqrt(ix*ix+iy*iy+iz*iz),0),1)
to replace the last 3 lines of your (unconed's) dm

thanks siddartha. I'm gonna trry to learn that alpha blending stuff. Seems to do a load of differance.

nice one.. also, ide try to use a different rederer.
i dont have that texer bmp that u used, so i dont know what it was meatn to do, but i tryed it with heaps of my texer images and it did almost nothing at all. As for the metablobs, its an expensive(on fps) way to achive a very slight effect.
btw, feel free to use that adjustment cause i hardly did anything to it.
