If anyone is still interested; I voted Anubis. Polite and experienced (avs-wise and forum-wise).

And the mods that we have governing these forums are serious? I mean, look at Bilbo - he's not exactly the definition of serious. A mod doesn't have to be serious all the time.

About this thread actually resulting in something - I don't know. I think it should have a result, but I am not sure what the mods think.

Yeah, but that moderator hasn't been able to watch over these forums recently, and even when he was here he still didn't spend as much time in the AVS forums.

Anubis would make a good mod (no better than me imho, but that's just mho...), but 3 months isn't experienced 😛

but 3100 posts is, IMO. And if you are talking in terms of AVS, I have been doing AVS for much longer.

Ok, but that many posts does mean that I have spent a lot of time on these forums. What other sort of experience is there besides time spent doing something? Sure I haven't spent as much time on here as Atero, but I have spent more time than a lot of people on here. I know the inner workings of these forums(including a good idea of what it's like to be a mod - I am a mod of another forum that is run with the same basic setup), and know what the responsibilities are. And I wasn't trying to postpump - just defend myself, since I do think that I have all the needed experience to be a moderator of these forums, just as basically all of the regulars do.

Also, I have submitted a PM to a moderator about the issue at hand.

about a year. Maybe longer. I didn't use to do it that often, and since I didn't come on these forums or seek out any more information/help, progress was slow.

well i've been avsing for about a year and a half, as i remember so fneah.

I wasn't trying to compare my AVS time with yours. I do consider you to be better at that(except with polyhedra(jheriko is better than me) and collisions). I may have been doing avs about the same length of time as you - I'm not sure.
