Jaggies...

Does anyone know how to get rid of (or mask) the jaggies in this preset?

The dynmove is a lot like the one in UnConeD's 'cubic flower' preset. I really liked the look of the square tunnel, and was hoping to do something more with it 🙂

You need to use alpha blending. Search the forums to figure out how.

Here`s a fixed version.I just put my tunnel code and those lines dont appear so bad now and it looks a bit better IMO 🙂

Anubis: not necessarily, in my tunnel DM i curved the corners a little to smooth it out. You can do this by changing:
x=(if(equal(k1,k),y1,x1));
to
x=(if(k1,y1,x1));
but this ruins the texture on two of the sides. Havent looked at phazes try that.

True dat. I still like the alpha blended corners though. Looks kinda cool, IMO.

yeah, i like the alpha blended corners a lot, i couldnt figure out an equation for alpha that would do the corners, and still leave it blending at some reasonable distance down the tunnel 🙂

i changed the alpha equation in yours (Phaze) to:

alpha=2/sqrt(sqr(k*dxc)+sqr(k*dyc))-.43;

and it hid the sides really well, all i need now is a fade bit 🙂

well, i started out with tekno as a username a while back... 98 i thin... then decided that was silly, and wanted to move on to moltar, like on space ghost 🙂 unfortunatly, it was already taken most places i wanted to register it, so i added an x and became MoltarX 🙂

probably not as interesting an origin as it could have....

ok...im satisfied now 🙂 Atero knows the other reason too heheh

Ah, Moltar was the greatest. I loved that show. It was truly the best show ever on Cartoon Network.
