the age was referring to the grade- not the math. a couple kids in my grade are in alg3/trig (or alg2/trig (whatever you want to call it))
what math have you had?

ok now im too much confused...
can just anyone tell me what part those go...

then i know where i really am...aŽ2 = bŽ2 + cŽ2 - 2ab*cos(a);
d = sqrt((x2-x1)Ž2+(y2-y1)Ž2);
That's trigonometry. (Though I sorta doubt about the 2nd line - that's the distance formula...)
Oh, and I think we got a little key crossover problem...
Z=^, I assume?

I love the distance formula. I use it all the time. Great way to get things to center around a certain point and/or check for collisions between those damn complicated ballz.
Im finnished with high school, and since there is no math on my college that's it for me. But I cant say what I did and did not take because I didn't pay much attention to math in highschool. I think the last thing we did was integration and stuff🙂 but I cant say really.
i don't believe you 🙂
i was lucky enough to have a high school with a wacky enough scheduling system so that i was able to finish calc2 by the end of my senior year 🙂
as well as 3 years physics 😁

calc, but has you ever seen me use a complicated formula?
It's true that geometry and trig have the most direct applications in AVS, but stuff like systems of equations, matrices, integration/derivation etc. can all be used in scopes and dm's too
I just finished whith basics of combinations, permutations and probalilety and am starting whith derivations and stuff.
Its true that in avs you can use anything from 1+1=2 to the most perverse theories and formulas but the most important thing is yore imagination 🙂

Im another Aussie, and I am in Year 11, 5th form for you foreigners,
I take Advanced ( 2 Unit ) Maths, and Advanced English, Plus Chem, Bio , Engineering Stduies and other rubbish,
What I want to know is, how long did it take you to actually learn avs? were you immediately able to jump in with your maths knowledge or did you sit back and learn like I did, cause i havent even seen any Jheriko or UnConeD making N00bish presets like I did.

2 months
TO learn the basics of SSC/DM coding: ~2 months.
Umm, truth be told, everyone's made n00b presets, just some of us kept them offline.
I never really understood what Trig could do until I took Pre-calc. Then it all came together. Sines & Cosines are all I use basically.
what part of it dont you belive artero? I could scan all my well.. papers and they all say math=2(out of five).Not proud of that😁.
Twice I even had a negative grade at the end of the year🙁. I was muchn better with phisics though 4(I was a lazy bastard and never did homework😁)🙂
as for the progres thing DL my packs and check the dates🙂

Just this year I missed an enite topic from advanced maths ( invent any reason you want ) When I took the test for it I scored an unholy 1/25.
It was a shocker,
Fortunately many others did as disgracefully as I 😁
