AVS Avatar

I just created a new avatar. What do you think? Here is the AVS that I created it with too.

This making Avatars is too confusing for me, I tryed to use UnConeD's AVS graber (of whatever), but it didnt work and scrued my Winamp up, i had to uninstall and then install it....

AVS grabber worked fine for me only that the output video sucks....It looks very crappy even if the quality is at maximum.Anyway i liked the previous avatar better anubis,the one making your name in black in white 🙂 Pretty nifty 😳

Nifty??? That took me like 2 minutes. It was just simple image transitions. Plus, I wanted to do something in AVS. Any other ideas on something different would be appreciated. I also want to incorporate my name, but making something nice out of it in avs is difficult. I may just do a letter morphing preset. I've done this before, but didn't like it AVS-wise. Do you think it would look good for an avatar?

Only if you do the morphing "the right way"

First just do bilinear transitions between the letters, and then adjust the "p" (point-numbering) so that it shifts the way you want it. Add colorcoding to blend out unnecesary lines (Or just use texered dots) and you're done.

Yeah, I've done it before. Don't really like it though. I'm going to try again and see what the results are. Right now I really like how my current one transfers from the last frame to the first without it being obvious. Took me about 20 tries to get a movie I could use.

phaze: I used animation shop, which comes with jasc.com's paint shop pro (shareware available).

Note however that avatars have a size limit, and it's a pain in the *ss to fit animations in there.

Nothing beats that for squeezing animations down in size.

Adobe's ImageReady 3.0 is also great. PSP can't do a lot of things very easily.

Before U install it mod. ur PC year to 2023 (or something) after installation change it back.
