Standalone AVS
I think it would be really great if AVS could run as a standalone program, taking the sound from the line in of the sound board without winamp....This is just a wish.... :)

You can make winamp get sound from the linein. Just open location linein://

I know....
I know how to open linein in winamp...But my wish a just a standalone AVS that could run without winamp running (to save ressources and maybe avoid some bugs)

I know we can use AVS without Winamp now...For example, we can use it with Atomix MP3 II and a plugin to load winamp plugins with it...and it works :)

I made a very simple 'bare bones' Winamp plugin loader a while ago (for myself) that simply used in_mp3.dll and out_wave.dll. Should be easy to make a wrapper for visualisation plug-ins too, but I'd like to ask why. Winamp doesn't take that many resources, and I've yet to see a serious bug in it.
