i'm creating a preset, but i have a problem....
ok heres my problem, im working on this preset and so far its going well, it even looks original(i hope)! but after awhile my dynamic movement complete stops working as if it wasnt there and clear every frame was turned on. but nothing changes in the editor window.
i think either r or d is going out of range but i dont know how to tell really, so im not sure, if you could help me i'd appreciate it.

heres the preset:
(rename to .avs)

If you cant reproduce the problem... heres some screenshots.
Although it makes no difference in the problem, for the preset to look right wrap in DM needs to be OFF.Its not done yet any ways, SS needs much work, but we wont go there yet...
BTW - you guys are all great, ive learned more from these forums than all the other stuff ive read about avs, thanks.

Well, it hasn't happened for me. How long do you have to watch it?

As to why it happens, I think sometimes the DM misbehaves. I niticed in "moving kalideoscope" (sp?) in my preset pack that after a while, parts of the screen get a delayed movement. I don't know what causes it, or how to fix it.

P.S. Could you actually zip presets instead of renaming them? I'm lazy. Zip is associated with Winzip, I have to do nothing. When you rename it, I have to go down to my AVS dir and rename it. Like I said, I'm lazy. :)

It has consistently taken aroung 8 min to reproduce the problem on both of my pcs...but if your not seein a problem then i dont care what my machine does...,I guess im gonna try and finish, its not like anyone will watch 1 preset too long anyways,(cept a couple ive seen...),well back too work hehe...Rucksack was nice, though i didnt have time to go all the way throught it, i liked what i saw..
Also FYI;
im running an Intel PIII 700mhz 128mbs of ram on win98, and an AMD athlon 600 with 128mbs and win98 and both have the problem!.
My avs is setup for 320x240 windowed resolution 32bpp,and fullscreen is fullscreen overlay mode, with wait for retrace and pixeldoubling checked. Im not sure if any of this is relevant but it cant hurt right :)

As for being lazy, work smart not hard, right click the link, click save target as... in the save file dialog box,change the files of type: dropdown box to all files then change "myavs.zip" to "myavs.avs", click save! done, winzip bullshit avoided... laterz

See, I'm too lazy to even think of save as :p.

As for watching a preset for 8 minutes, I dunno. Most presets I only watch for 1 or 2 (except mine ofcourse :)).
