I am new to AVS and want to learn how to make my own not just edit other peoples and call it my own. If some1 would take the time to make me basically and "Idiots Guide to AVS" it would be greatly appreciated.

Just mess with it. If you start hitting your head agains a wall search the forums, then ask.
