i think that the in_wav.dll doesn't do that
just like the in_cd.dll doesn't do it

BS in_cd.dll DONT!
you have to change your recording settings in your audio properties set to cd selected, instead of wav, as for your wav's that could be a in_wav.dll problem

Basically BlurPak2K1 is saying that the part of winamp that plays wave files doesn't pass information to AVS. The part that plays CDs does, if you don't have winamp setup to play CD audio using the part that plays waves.
As for myself, I don't use wave files, so it's not an issue foe me.

WAV's are supposed to work, CD's are not. If WAV's don't work, then something's wrong with your Winamp installation.

cd's should too, if the person has enabled cd audio to be active in his sound properties, and as for recording cd music (like for avs purposes) that same thing for having the recording preferences in that persons audio properties...

Works for me =) I rip cds and im to lazy to convert to mp3 but when i got 20gigz it dosent matter...
Atleast not for a while...
