Overlay mode. Double-Click on the AVS window, and then click Settings, and select Display. Check Overlay Mode and Set Desktop to Color

I'm being blonde here...
 How exactly do I do this? Which window is the AVS window (is that the pretty swirly window)? Because when I double-click on THAT window, it goes full screen instead of giving me any kind of menu. Also why does the pretty swirly full-screen windowify when I accidentally right-click on it? That's REALLY annoying!
Thank you for your help!

Uh, check your preferences (Ctrl+P) and go to Plug-ins > Visualization. Make sure "Advanced Visualization Studio" is selected.

i know one thing how to put a AVS wallpaper to the desktop! First you go to AVS fullscreen mode and then grab a screenshot by pressing Print Screen button on your keyboard, then go to any major Photo program (ex. Paint Shop Pro) and press CTRL + V (paste) and there's your pic. Then you save the pic in some folder and put it in the desktop!
BTW. 1024x768 res. pictures are much better that 640x480 !!
