Is something missing fom winamp AVS?
In some AVS Presets that I have downloaded, sometimes It comes up with a "UNKNOWN RENDER OBJECT". If anyone can tell me what that is, and if I can get it somehow, please do so.:)
This is what it looks like :

You need the ape file. It will say which one usually.

In this case it's 3d.ape.
You can get it here -

Uhh...
Thanks,I have the plug-in, but it still dosn't work. This is what happens. First I load the preset, and while that happens, a window pops-up that says I dont have that type of 3D APE thing the AVS wants to display. It looks like this :

And, If I chose the RenderAPE / 3D, I can't chose any of the 3D things, because there are none!
That looks like this : http://www.angelfire.com/music4/lucky/AGAIN2.jpg

I can't see those pictures...

Is the 3d.ape file in the avs dir? If it is then i don't know what is wrong :|

That is weird...
Yes, the file is in the avs directory, and i dont know why those pictures are that!

Actually, I know how you can see the pictures. Just keep on refreshing the page, and sometimes they might come up. (At least it works for me.);)

http://www.quadrants.net/goodies/loneavsdata.exe

install this, you need the asc files

edit:
you can also make your own 3d models
asc files are ascii 3d files made by 3dstudio max, there are lots of convertors and free asc files out there

edit 2:
just found this duck :)

http://www.discreet.com/products/3dsmax/

you asked for it ;)
well 3ds max is big and expensive, you don't want to get it
there are several freeware 3d modelling programs out there and there are tools to convert their files into asc format
i cannot recommend anything though
