Archive: Projector query(what do I need)

Hey there..

I've become interested in acquiring a projector. This is indeed directly related to winamp, but I've got a few other uses for it too. My main question is what should I look for, I really don't know much about video projectors, but want to have an idea of what others are using. I'm planning to spend around 500-750$,a dn so far the best deal I've found online was a digital projector for around 1500$. I realise i may have to buy used, and am fully prepared to do the rounds of the pawn shops and discount stores(read: flea market & electronic warehouses).

So, if you have advice, or a projector to tell me about, i'd sure appreciate it..

And a special thanks for the guys and gals at Wimamp for continuously rocking my world..

cool!
Nice.

I can't seem to find many details about it's video-fee capabilities. I thought that overhead projectors were only for transparencies. But since you suggested this, I'm guessing it does indeed have a video input (or s-video even?)...

This would be perfect for me, I must now thank you infinitely for your help, and the funny thing is, I have the Apollo p-2250 printer... it's a crappy printer, but coincidences rock!

thanks again, I'm definitely looking into it, and even If I don't buy this one, I've got a whole new area to look into (I was looking mostly in digital projectors)..

Thanks!
Nice,

Although It's still a bit high for the budget it definitely gives me more of an idea of what to look for. Thanks for doing those searches, I hadn't seen the second one..

I'm gonna check out the local used market first though, always getting the best deal right?

Thanks again!
