Archive: From AmpliDex's Insane AVS Collection

On Winamp's site, I have a collection called Insane AVS 1 -2 ( http://www.winamp.com/components/det...ponentId=38539 ) ! That was my first collection submitted! However, I screwed up the installer a bit (Blame it on the NetZip Self-Extractor Utility) , so I'll be fixing that up! Right now, I'm near completion of my next preset collection "Insane AVS 3.00", so you can expect it around September, if not in late August!

Got something to say about my presets, post it here or on that preset page link! :D

Checked it out :D, some presets are nice, but something leaves me wondering... did you do those SVP and UVP files ?

3rd August 2001 00:08 UTC

Nope! I downloaded those off Sonique's web site! If I knew C++ and if I had a Complier, then I'd be able to make SVP's! :D

Insane AVS Update
A couple of days ago, I have successfully uploaded Insane AVS 3! It should be completely reviewed by mid-September, if not earlier! And also, I'm already working on Insane AVS 3.01 and Insane AVS 4 (Ka-LIED-0-Scop) right now! Stay tuned for more updates! :)

Cool, but is it legal, did you contact the authors ??????

14th August 2001 01:39 UTC

If they put the SVP's on Sonique's web site, then of course it's legal to put SVP's in Winamp!

14th August 2001 17:24 UTC

OK, but authors of those SVP's still have copyrights on those things, perhaps you should've mailed them?

14th August 2001 17:30 UTC

Doggy Dog, many of the preset collections I have downloaded already copied those SVP's before I did! Just for your information, of course! :)
