Archive: Viz Fullscreen crashes Winamp

(My os Win95, plenty of memory, DirectX 7).
I have updated to the latest 2.71 version. When trying to use AVS viz on fullscreen, right-clicking shows a menu that flashes past in a second, left clicking causes the error: *the prog performed an illegal operation in Kernel32.dll, etc.* & Winamp crashes. What a nuisance, I can't use fullscreen! Please, would somebody give me a clue why this is happening??

1. open Winamp AVS editor
2. go to settings / fullscreen
3. try choosing different video modes (if 32bpp doesn't work, try 16bpp and vice versa), disable page flipping, disable wait for retrace, etc
4. if this doesn't help, update your video card drivers

It has helped! Changed video mode and fiddled with other settings! Cheers, very grateful.
