hmm that is pretty similar in its tunnelling effect.... but doesn't come anywhere close to the 'cool' factor of the Aorta.. *sigh.. must be something closer no? or a port someone could do ?

well you can load this into avs.
- new preset
- +>render>SVP loader
- select "aorta"
- enjoy...

hmm that does sort of does work.. but its not rendering it properly by the looks of it... :(

anything else i can do?

yeah, the aorta/tunnel seemed kinda short to me too. different resolution didn't really help. and the version that comes with avs is even newer than the one from your link :p

and the version that comes with avs is even newer than the one from your link ... where to find it?

30th October 2007 17:47 UTC

well i found it in C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\avs
and i'm pretty sure i never dl'ed any svp-presets, so my guess was that they come with winamp/AVS. it might be different, though, but i can't really be bothered now to install winamp anew just to check that ;)

here. the file from my directory:
[bzw: it just has a newer date, dunno if there actually are any changes, i noticed no differences]

some mixup i think you had.. it isn't any different.

anyway the search goes on for a replacement avs.. or someone who can remake this...

bump what the hell. SVP loader can it be fixed to control FOV or something, seems like the only problem is that its FOV angle is just too close up when its rendering this.

fix it? is it broken? svp are vis-plugins for sonique. does the plugin look any different in sonique?

22nd June 2009 03:04 UTC

It works great in XMPlay

22nd June 2009 03:05 UTC

and that is the same .svp file that Sonique player would use I believe
