Super Nova Preset
This Preset use the rotate polar rose function but in different way then below.

Now it's more like a rotated String then a polar rose.

This polar rose function is the first one that a used to made presets.
Actually, I am fascinated by it, because you can rotate it, use it like a string, wobble it and use it like a rotated infinity symbol.

Use a simple preset with only a superscope and try this.

Rotated Infinity String

init: n=9000;theta=0.01;a=0.6;k=64;
frame: theta=theta+$PI/8;
point: r=a*cos(k*v-theta);x=r*cos(v);y=r*sin(k*v);


Wobbling String

init: n=9000;theta=0.01;a=0.6;k=64;
frame: theta=theta+$PI/8;
point: r=a*cos(k*v);x=r*cos(k*v+theta);y=r*sin(k*v);


Spider String/Works only for the super nova preset

init: n=9000;theta=0.01;a=1.3;k=8;
frame: theta=theta-$PI/32;
point: r=a*cos(k*v+theta);x=r*cos(v+theta);y=r*sin(k*v);

..not! i admit, i didn't even watch it. judging by the name it's the same stuff i've seen 1000 times already and that bored me 1000 times also. man, i'm mean today.

lower the n to 1000 remove the blitter remove the text and take everything out of the effectlist and all should be fine.

Hey Nanakiwurkz,

I suppose now, that everything unnecessary has been removed.

So I used the dynamic movement to make it looks more attractive.

Only the last rendering effect of the superscope is necessary to have good looking rotated string, so n=9000 musst still there.

Yes, I know this will speeddown the performance.

But, this's what I'm expecting from the preset, to look the way that I imagined for it.

Anyway, if somehow someone has a good idea, to decrease the number of n without changing the desired effect, will be welcome.

I know, it still some work to do on it.
I'm learning on it, so I enjoy it...

This's what I'm calling my tiny little supernova preset, or t.l. dummy SN+ preset.

I hope that this preset will not bore Mr.Yathosho too much.
Because, this the next 1001 times that he is bored about dummy tiny little presets.
Sorry, that my creativity and intelligence is so tiny dummy little.
As you didn't know that I'm from the lost continent Afrika.
As you've started making preset at the age of x>=7years.
I was playing with tiny little stones. Which was before the age of computers, or so called the age of stones.

Sorry, about the comment. But, I'm trying to make my best to do something, I just can't stand such a comment.:hang:

So enjoy it anyway, or bored it...:p

Ekalb don't take what Yathosho says seriously all the time.
He may sound like he's being mean but trust me he's trying to teach you. also i tend to get his taunts every now and then on my deviantart gallery submissions. But hey i actually like them.

Fresh from the oven.
I finally pulled out of my head what to do with supernova and i got it done.

I believe in estimates the preset is now 60% faster then it was. also i added a nice touch to the graphics.

Nice remix. Still not supergreat but i liked it. It is much smoother than the original. Next modification should emphasize color and esthetics. Good work!

My ReMix of the ReMix
This is what I kind of meant by emphasizing the color. In previous versions of this preset, I loved the color, but it would last for only a second or two or be jumbled together so I tryed to embellish the color. It's still a little two dark for my taste, but I still like what I came up with. Unfortunately it’s not very close to the original :(. I hope you guys like it.

to both versions of the remix of the remix i'm very impressed. I may have done a nice job fixing the preset but you took the theme to a whole new lvl.

I'm really imprest, really. Wow!!!

I hope that one day I'll do such a great wonderful work.

Now, I've the advantage to learn from you, how to make a preset look better.

So, It's my last Reply for the Super Nova Preset but I'm not closing it, I let it too you now.

But, I'll be back with new Ideas and more creativity.

Lastly, I would like to say that I have a pioneer esprit.

Now, everyone will use the string function todo whatever they want to. Let's do supernooova.
