Saving old visualizations between upgrades
Over the years I've used casually used Winamp I've noticed that once in a while a new set of default visualizations will be distributed with the Winamp installer. After various upgrades, it seemed to me that all the old visualizations would eventually "disappear."

If I wanted to preserve visualizations across upgrades, would it be sufficient to save the visualization files (e.g. .avs, .milk, .sps) and copy them back into the appropriate plugins subdirecory?

thanks,
Larry
