AVS in WMP?
I dont know if anyones posted about this before, I admit Im a newb but, is their a way I can use my AVS presets in Windows Media Player as well? Anyone know of a plugin?

No. You *might* be able to copy the vis_avs.dll to the WMP plugins directory (I remember this worked somewhat with MusicMatch).

To save the effort, you could just try using your AVS presets in Winamp. I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard that it's amazing.

Honestly though, it takes some balls to come to the Winamp forums and ask about WMP, the well-known rival (even though WMP doesn't stand a chance), so you get a :up: for bravery.


And just to avoid any confrontation, I don't know that there is any way to use AVS in WMP. But again, why would you want to (other than the fact that our presets rule!, and theirs suck.)? :confused:

It's not possible.
