AVS Grabber is what you need and which you would've find out a helluva lot faster if you would've just searched the forums.
Thank you.

thanks alot
But I already knew what program you need.
I really appreciate your help, but please...where do I find what to do?
I only have avsgrabber.ape and out_grab.dll, and I dont see what you have to do with 'X'.AVS to make it 'X'.avi
Tanks...

I think you only need the DLL if you want the audio saved in the AVI file. It goes in your WinAmp\Plugins directory (alongside other out_*.dll files), and then you can select it in the preferences.
The APE file, which does the actual grabbing, goes in the WinAmp\Plugins\AVS directory (alongside other APE files).
Each APE file represents an effect you can add to AVS presets. The avsgrabber.ape file is the same way; add it to the end of a preset to use it. (It's in the "misc" category.) The configuration options for this APE allow you to specify an output file, and then start and stop the recording.
This is what I remember, anyway. There might be more detailed instructions elsewhere.
(By the way, I've done this twice, and each time I've had WinAmp crash a few minutes later. So don't be -too- surprised if this also happens to you. I plan to try the other grabber at some point, to see if it works better for me.)

mostly it crashes because of weird video-formats. But like steven said: you can never be 100% sure that it works as you want it to.
Also keep in mind that these avs grabbing tools don't do anything else than filming your running preset. So if you activate the grabber and no music is running you'll get a mostly 'still motion' movie.

Someone could/should make a tutorial of how to use the AVS Grabber, fully loaded with step-by-step instructions and pictures. Seems to be a pretty popular question to me, maybe this would in the long run save us all a lot of work (and nerves).

I don't use AVS Grabber, i've tried it once out of curiosity (which was a success though), but i probably don't know any advanced tips or anything to work out the kinks.

Is there actually anyone who would be able to do such a tutorial?
