Well, do I need to say more?
I know, open source, do it yourself etc..
But since this is the wishlist and it would be nice, (or wouldn't it?)..
Perhaps as an addition to the sf project.

For a 320x240 frame, that would mean the equivalent of a n=76800 superscope. Think again :P.
Right now, color modifier uses a lookup table per channel.

You could approximate in much the same fashion as a DM

Interpolating an x, y and alpha is one thing (DM)... interpolating 3 x 256 values is another.
