My second release.
This is my second preset that I feel is ready for public release. It came as a mixture of two presets I had already made and although I don't feel that it's quite perfected, I'm pretty happy with it.
I want to thank ^..^ again for telling me about texerII. The frame rate of this preset would be way to low if I had used superscopes/DMs instead of TexerII.
Anyways, I welcome comments, suggestions, and questions.
Peace,
Andy

first of all: many people may already have all those avsres_* pics installed, but since they don't belong to winamp you should upload your 'additional files' (=used texer pics) together with the preset!
ok, back to the preset: it's nothing very special. i personally don't like the effect produced by the colormap and besides the texers is bit too thin. But this preset shows that you're coding most of your stuff yourself! And that's good, cause many people just throw some random standard stuff together, thinking it'd be nice somehow... *shiver*

i like the texers but the dm at the back is crap (looks like some typical noob thingy), also the colormap gives sparkly edges to the particles.
nice to see some obviously thought out code for a change :)

Good for a newbie. Try to add more particles or make them move slower or something; that would take the edge off the strobing effect of the color cycling. (strobe effects should be used sparingly, if at all) Also, your background could use a little work. Try something plain to show off the lightshow a little more.
