Blur vs. Bump
It came to to me the other day that when an object in AVS is under the bump trans, it is usually masked under the object. But when blur (rounded up) is added, the bump is no longer masked and is fully visible on the screen.

I'm just curious why this happens. Is it somewhat related with the "water and blur" issue ^..^ encountered a while back? Obviously some yous guys got the answer.

The "bump" also becomes visible when you store the object in a buffer and choose this one as the bump-"depth buffer".

Unfortunately i have no idea if it has anything to do with the other thread, cause im not quite sure how the bump effect works. Perhaps it would help if anyone could explain this trans-effect?!
